Today’s featured homeowners are Dan and Maureen, who recently moved into their new home at the Villas at Spring Lake. The couple personalized their home design to accommodate their love of hosting, with an open floor plan perfect for large gatherings and a guest bedroom that’s always ready for the next visit from family and friends! Now happily settled into their new neighborhood, join us as we hear from Dan and Maureen about their building experience and the tips they have to share with aspiring homeowners.

When did you move into your home?

We moved in October 2023. 

What home plan do you have?

Our home plan is The Willow.

How did you incorporate your family’s lifestyle into your home?

We added an additional bedroom for when our friends and family visit. We also went with the larger master suite. We added a patio slab on the lower level and put in a hot tub.

What is your decorating inspiration?

We love the location. Dan and I wanted an open floor plan and loved the many options offered.

What do you love about your Eastbrook community?

We love the neighbors we have met. Very friendly area overall.

What are your favorite features in your home?

We have many favorite features. We love our wooded lot. Our sunroom and kitchen are gorgeous and add so much to our home. We love to cook and entertain, and our kitchen accommodates this!

What was your building process /Eastbrook experience like?

We cannot say enough about the team we worked with. The process was made very easy. Everyone was professional and knowledgeable. They all offered us great suggestions to make our home lovely. We felt they listened to us and led us in the right direction with our choices.

What does “home” mean to you?

Home to Dan and I means cozy and comfortable. Home is a place where our friends and family want to visit. 

Do you have any tips or tricks for new homeowners?

Utilize all the options that Eastbrook offers. The process is stress-free.

Any other thoughts you would like to add? 

We want to express our sincere appreciation to the entire team at Eastbrook. We transitioned out of two homes into our new home. The overall experience was exceptional!
