When did you move into your home?

I moved into my home on August 5, 2024

What home plan do you have?

I chose the Georgetown floor plan because I immediately fell in love with its layout.

How did you incorporate your lifestyle into your home?

I love to entertain, and the large open-concept design gives me the perfect space to gather with friends and family.

What is your decorating inspiration?

I’m a big fan of Joanna Gaines, and I’ve incorporated a lot of her style throughout my home.

What do you love about your Eastbrook community?

One of the things I love most about this community is how friendly everyone is. Watching families out walking, children playing outside, it truly feels welcoming and alive.

What are your favorite features in your home?

My favorite features of my home are the vaulted, beamed cathedral ceilings and the double-sided fireplace. I also absolutely love my freestanding tub, which was one of my must-haves when designing my floor plan.

What made you choose Eastbrook Homes as your builder?

I first learned about Eastbrook after attending one of their open houses and was immediately impressed by the quality and attention to detail. Once I understood Eastbrook’s building process, I knew it was the best fit for me compared to other builders.

What was your building process /Eastbrook experience like?

The building process itself was amazing. I never felt lost or overwhelmed. From the design appointments for both the interior and exterior to the weekly updates, Eastbrook kept me informed every step of the way and always made sure I knew what was happening with my home.

What does “home” mean to you?

To me, home is a place where family and friends can gather, feel safe, and truly enjoy themselves. It’s where my grown children feel comfortable coming to stay, and where my grandchildren love to come and play. All of this was incredibly important to me, and this home truly represents what “home” means in my heart.

Do you have any tips or tricks for new homeowners?

My advice to anyone considering building with Eastbrook is to trust the process. They are so thorough that you never have to worry about missing something. They guide you every step of the way. That allowed me to focus on selling my previous home without worrying about what needed to be done during the build of my new one.

Any other thoughts you would like to add? 

When I began this journey, I had recently been widowed and had never done anything like this on my own before. Building a home initially felt very scary. However, the Eastbrook builders and their realtor, Robin Ryan, went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and supported. What could have been a very stressful and frightening time turned into one of the most positive experiences I’ve ever had. Thank you so much to the entire Eastbrook team for your hard work, compassion, and dedication, especially for making what could have been one of the most difficult seasons of my life one of the most positive.
