Meet Jade and James

With Eastbrook’s long-standing reputation in their West Michigan community of Grand Ledge, Jade and James knew a customized Eastbrook home would be the perfect fit for their family. Along with their two children, Jade and James are already ahead in the home building process with framing finished, roofing complete, and rooms defined. Jade and James selected the Hearthside home plan and added a number of unique features and customization options to fit their individual lifestyle and needs. Jade loves the large, expansive windows in the living room and James is excited to watch their custom fireplace become a focal point of the space. From reworking the master suite to selecting the perfect home site, Jade and James already feel like they’re home and can’t wait to watch their carefully-selected home customization options take shape. Major Progress Inside and Out

Jade and James are delighted to share their most recent Eastbrook Home updates with you. Their brand new build looks much different from the last time we met, with new windows installed, driveway completed, and trim up and painted – and that’s just the exterior! Inside, Jade and James take us on a tour through their home, showcasing recently-installed drywall and talking us through their Home Creation Studio selections. The family chose a number of unique personalization options, including a large owner-suite  bedroom closet, durable quartz countertops, and a completely finished basement. They’re thrilled to have separate, designated areas for kids to play, an office for the parents to work, and enough room for company to relax. Join us as we tour their light-filled workout room, spacious loft area, and welcoming family room, complete with a custom fireplace and cozy, warm spaces to create lasting holiday memories. Cabinets, Countertops, and Colors

From doors, trim, and cabinets to stunning fireplace personalizations, Jade and James’ customized dream home is quickly coming together! A plethora of building upgrades happened over the last few weeks, including intricate carpentry work in their home office, stair rails and banisters designed to match the family’s welcoming front door, and built-in shelving surrounding their living room fireplace. Jade adores the wainscotting in their light-filled home office and is thrilled to see the couple’s trim choices perfectly showcased along each wall of the room. Jade and James’ gorgeous fireplace feature wall exemplifies the power and flexibility of Eastbrook Homes’ customizable design options; the couple opted to create the perfect family gathering space with full-length shiplap, built-in cabinetry, and hand-built shelving. James can’t take his eyes off the kitchen, featuring a walk-in pantry, a large farmhouse island, midnight onyx cabinets, silver-veined quartz countertops, and custom paint and trim details throughout. The mudroom also received a facelift with specialized benches, cubbies, and coathooks for every member of the family. Jade and James can’t wait to watch their finish and fixture choices come to life over the next few weeks. Tile and Stonework

We’re back with Jade and James as they showcase the incredible work that’s taken place on their beautiful home over the last few weeks. We begin in the two-story great room, with expansive views over the shiplap fireplace, abundant light from two-story windows, and extra space for work, play, and relaxation. Jade is thrilled with her fireplace, specifically the stonemasonry on the surround and hearth. Visions of family gatherings and incredible memories around the fire fill Jade’s imagination and she can’t wait to fill her built-in shelves with photos, books, and holiday decor. The master bathroom is almost complete, with gorgeous tilework on both the shower walls and base perfectly complementing Jade and James’ style. The kitchen is also moving right along, with the backsplash up, the range hood installed, and mixed metal light fixtures brightening up the entire space. Jade and James’ two boys couldn’t wait to show us their large-finished basement with plenty of room to run and play!
