What home plan do you have? 

Jamestown 

How did you incorporate your family’s lifestyle into your home? 

We wanted lots of bathrooms and plenty of light, so we added a full bath to the first floor and additional windows. We also wanted an open floor plan with an enlarged dining room and kitchen because we like to cook and host larger parties. 

What is your decorating inspiration? 

Nature, outdoors, and travel. Our furniture style is modern. 

What do you love about your Eastbrook community? 

The size of the lots are large and the friendly neighbors. 

What are your favorite features in your home? 

One of our favorite features is the double sided fireplace and Hearth room where we can relax, watch nature out the windows, and enjoy family/company. The best decision we made was to expand our garage! 

What was your building process /Eastbrook experience like? 

The process was well-organized and laid out. We loved that we could enter the house at any time during the building process. We also really enjoyed picking out our house selections at the Home Creation Studio — this daunting process was much easier than anticipated. 

What does “home” mean to you? 

A place where you can be comfortable and be yourself! It’s also a place where you don’t have to worry about being judged for wearing sweatpants.  

Do you have any tips or tricks for new homeowners? 

Make sure to take the time to review your plans and added features before it’s through the redline and the approval process. Also, don’t wait to finish your basement. The cost savings is worth it and we use our basement all of the time. 

Any other thoughts you would like to add? 

Don’t rush the process. Embrace it and enjoy it! We had a great time watching our house be built, and Eastbrook made the process super easy. We couldn’t have picked a better builder. You definitely get more than what you paid for.
