This edition features Christina and Eric, who moved into their Eastbrook home at the beginning of 2024 – right in the middle of a winter storm! The couple was no stranger to unpredictability, however. With five kids, many of them teenagers, never-ending excitement is a part of Christina and Eric’s daily life, which is why they deeply appreciated the way they were able to turn their Eastbrook home into a haven of peace and serenity with the help of the Eastbrook design team. How did you incorporate your family’s lifestyle into your home?

Since we have a blended family of five kiddos and a house full of very active teens, we incorporated all things “us” by customizing every nook and cranny to fit our likes, loves, and interests.

What do you love about your Eastbrook community?

The location between Zeeland and Hudsonville.

What are your favorite features in your home?

Our custom kitchen and one-of-a-kind under-stairs storage/bookcase

Do you have any tips or tricks for new homeowners?

Do your research. Knowing what you like, what interests you, and how you’re going to utilize your home can make the design process so much easier. With an avid interior design plan and inside knowledge of the latest and greatest, we were able to enjoy the conception and design of our home and how we plan on using it now and in the future.
