Eastbrook Homes is happy to announce the results of the 3rd annual Taste and Tour event held at a variety of Eastbrook Communities during October, 2019.
Taste and Tour was created in 2017 to give back to our local communities in real, meaningful ways. For 2019, we decided to take things a step farther and designated October to be a Month of Community Giving by creating a series of unique events at Eastbrook Communities across West Michigan, Greater Lansing, and for the first time – in Auburn, Alabama.
Taste and Tour provides visitors with the opportunity to see new changes taking shape at our Eastbrook communities while enjoying House Concerts, Happy Hours, Kid’s Carnival and Halloween Parties with food and drink samples from local vendors.
At each Taste and Tour stop, guests are also given the opportunity to support one of the many local non-profit organizations creating real change right in our backyard.
This year’s list of non-profit organizations includes Mosaic Counseling, Home Repair Services, Women’s Resource Center, Inner City Christian Federation (ICCF), Love In Action, Child and Family Charities, and many more.
In addition to the funds raised, our non-profit partners were able to spread awareness for their cause and gain connections for future partnerships.
With support from more than 1,000 visitors to 20 locations, the 2019 Eastbrook Homes Taste and Tour event raised more than $237,000 for our non-profit partners – more than doubling the total raised from 2018.
On November 14th, 2019, Eastbrook Homes delivered checks to non-profit partners from West Michigan, Greater Lansing, the Lakeshore, and Auburn, Alabama. As part of our commitment to giving back, Eastbrook provided matching funds of up to $10,000 to each non-profit partner.
Over the last three years, Taste & Tour has provided over $468,000 to local non-profit partners. Please help us support the many incredible people making a real difference in our communities by participating in Taste and Tour for 2020.
