Our Second Annual Eastbrook Homes Taste and Tour Celebration was a great success thanks to all of the people who attended this year. With the help of free food and drink samples from local vendors around each of the 15 West Michigan and Greater Lansing locations, our visitors turned out to preview new floor plans and explore new Eastbrook phases and communities. Below you will find the results of this event as well as a Taste and Tour Celebration Video.
Our Taste and Tour visitors raised money and awareness for 15 Michigan non-profit partners and their causes. In fact, our non-profit partners received over $5,000 more than last year thanks to the generosity of our Eastbrook family members and guests. In 2017, our donations totaled $106,700, but this year, we were able to provide more than $122,700 in support to these incredible organizations.
Below is a list of our Non-Profit partners for 2018. Each one received at least $5000 thanks to people’s generosity and Eastbrook Home’s matching gift.

Our non-profit partners had some comments at the end of the Taste and Tour event,
Family Promise of Grand Rapids:
“Taste and Tour will help us raise awareness about the issue of family homelessness here in our community. We seek to educate Taste and Tour visitors about the hidden faces of homelessness: children.”
TCM Counseling:
“Taste and Tour will make a drastic difference to stay with our mission. Every dollar raised literally translates into $3+ dollars of mental health care. Current primary focus is Suicide Prevention training (QPR) for all and to expand our School Outreach Program to help as many youths as possible.”
Child and Family Charities:
“Taste and Tour will allow us to reach more possible community partners who could make a difference in the lives of the 7,000 abused, neglected, and at-risk children and families that we serve; and potentially allow us to reach more people.”
With that kind of impact, it’s obvious we won’t be quitting now! We are already discussing what the Third Annual Eastbrook Homes Taste and Tour event will look like, so watch for our announcements. At Eastbrook Homes, we always give you more home for your money. Through the Taste and Tour celebration, we also proudly support some incredible non-profit organizations – some of which provide their recipients with more money for their homes!
