Finding Community in Lowell, MI
Finding Community in Lowell, MI
One of the biggest concerns for any new home buyer is that their new home fits their wants, needs, and their lifestyle. However, it’s also important for the neighborhood they choose to check those same boxes.
Harvest Meadows
In this eightWest segment, show host Rachael Ruiz is joined by Eastbrook sales agent Jeff Costello to talk about one of our newer communities – Harvest Meadows. With Phase 2 underway, Harvest Meadows has also launched Phase 3, making 32 more lots available for new home construction.
Located in Lowell, Harvest Meadows offers single-family homes on large lots in a wooded atmosphere near the 2 1/2 mile Lowell Area Trailway, lots of beautiful parks, and miles of nature trails. The community is also just minutes from Lowell area schools and only 20 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids.
New Home Designs
According to Jeff Costello, there are a variety of new home design options available at Harvest Meadows.
“We have 16 different floorplans and a bunch of different elevations,” said Jeff Costello. “We like to mix it up as much as we can with colors, elevations, and things like that.”
The eightWest crew also talked with new homeowners Logan and Sara Weis about their 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath Stockton floorplan home in Harvest Meadows, and all the things they love about the community.
“Harvest Meadows has a unique feel to it,” said Sara. “Every home looks different. We love the green space right in front of our house where we can go play baseball or run around with the kids.”
The Neighborhood Environment
The neighborhood environment was one of the biggest things that drew Sara and Logan Weis to the community.
“I think the driving force was the kids,” said Logan, “having them grow up around other kids because before we lived right off a really busy road and there weren’t a lot of kids around to play with.”
The Weis’s also loved the design process that went into building their new Eastbrook home, even though Sara was initially worried about it.
“They made it smooth and easy to make decisions,” said Sara. “It was really just stress-free for us.”
Eastbrook homes put a lot of planning and consideration into the creation of each new community, not only to make the best use of the natural resources and green space in each area, but also to create a beautiful and unique environment for the homeowners.
“We don’t want it to all look ‘cookie cutter’,” said Jeff Costello. “You’ll walk around and see a lot of different elevations, and different stone, and different siding colors. We make it fun.”
