This week on the Eastbrook Homes blog, we were asked to return to the Michigan’s Best podcast with Eric Hultgren as guests of the show. In this episode, Eastbrook Homes owner, Anita Miron, who is also a life coach with Team Beach Body, speaks with Eric on the topic of staying in shape while spending more time at home.
Anita discusses how she built the habits she needed to get back in shape. Although it’s easy to make use of community resources, such as walking, biking, and running in your Eastbrook community, Anita also points out that some people are not comfortable with those exercises due to physical limitations.
Although Anita feels 30 minutes may be optimal, her advice is to block out time at home and get started by investing just 20 minutes in a workout routine. She recommends a morning workout to generate energy and motivation, and to set the tone for the day.
Anita also advises finding the workout style that you love. Instead of dreading the daily habit of exercise, find the routine that makes you feel good. According to Anita, there’s something out there for everybody such as Peloton bikes, yoga, and other, high-impact workout routines.
No matter what your workout style is, you can find space in your Eastbrook Home to get started. Whether you adapt an entire room or just a small part, working out from home can be a fun and effective way to get in shape or stay there.
