When did you move into your home?

We moved into our new home December 2020. 

Any other thoughts you would like to add?

We are very pleased with the location of our community and because it is a patio home, the move-in process was much easier since there are no steps.

What was your building process/Eastbrook experience like?

We started the selection process just before businesses closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was more challenging to make decisions on Zoom at times. But it did all work out well. 

What are your favorite features in your home?

We added cabinets to the backside of the island. As a result, we have an amazingly large surface space for prepping, serving, and seating. We are also in love with our screened-in porch that includes a fireplace. It is like being outside, only better.

We have a two-sided fireplace between our bedroom and family room that we really enjoy. There are many additional features that make it a special home for us.

What is your decorating inspiration? 

I tend to decorate in a transitional way. I like versatile pieces and whimsical items which may make my style somewhat eclectic.

What home plan do you have?

We chose the Laurel plan. We loved the gallery and the flow of the floor plan. We added the flex room, Michigan room, and screened-in porch to allow for additional spaces to accommodate varying functionality. It works so well for us.
