Welcome back to another edition of the Homeowner Highlight series from Eastbrook Homes.
This week, we’re talking with Emily from Carlisle Crossings about her experience building a new home with Eastbrook. As always, Emily’s sources for her design inspiration are interesting and will hopefully benefit other people looking for new and interesting ideas.
We love to hear people’s comments about our Eastbrook Building process and the other comments our homeowners provide, but not only because we want to ensure that building with Eastbrook was a smooth, enjoyable process. We also love to share information that might help others in their own building journey.
Let’s check in with Emily and see what she has to share!
EBH: When did you move into your home?
E: August 2017
EBH: What home plan do you have?
E: We have the Hearthside
EBH: What is your decorating inspiration?
E: I get most of my inspiration from home bloggers, but also a mixture of HGTV and Pinterest.
EBH: What are your favorite features in your home?
E: Our wrap-around fireplace and Michigan Room
EBH: What was your Eastbrook experience and building process like?
E: It was smooth and quick. I couldn’t believe how little time it took to choose our selections, I thought it would have taken hours. The studio designer made it so easy! From there, it seemed to all move so fast. When issues arose, Eastbrook was quick to fix them. We even were able to move in early, which I appreciated!
EBH: Do you have any tips or tricks for new homeowners?
E: Think through the functionality of your home plan. If you want something changed from the way Eastbrook has it to make it work better for you, ask! Chances are they’ll work to make it happen.
EBH: Any other thoughts you would like to add?
E: We couldn’t be happier with the way our home turned out. Eastbrook has so many selections to choose from in their showroom. We went into the process thinking we were going to have only a few choices and were blown away with all the options!
Emily chose the Eastbrook community of Carlisle Crossings as the location for her new home. Located in the beautiful town of Byron Center in West Michigan, Carlisle Crossings features single-family homes and condominiums just 15 minutes from the shopping, dining, and entertainment opportunities in downtown Grand Rapids.
Thank you, Emily, for sharing your thoughts on your Eastbrook Experience. We do our best to make the building process easier so our new homeowners can spend less time worrying about building their dream home and more time thinking about the memories they’ll create after moving in.
Spring is a great time to build so if you’re considering a new home for 2020, please reach out to one of our Eastbrook team members and let’s get the conversation started. If you begin the building process this early in the year, we’ll have you celebrating the 2020 Holidays in your brand new Eastbrook Home!
