Welcome back to the Eastbrook Homes blog. This week, Adeline gives us a peek into her Mayfair floorplan home along with some of her decorating influences, favorite features, and why she loves her kitchen.
Adeline also provides some insight into the Eastbrook building process and what she liked most about the experience. She also provides some tips and tricks to help anyone else thinking about building a new Eastbrook home.
EBH: When did you move into your home?
A: We moved into our home in December of 2018
EBH: What home plan do you have?
A: We chose to build the Mayfair plan
EBH: What is your decorating inspiration?
A: I personally love things that are modern but I also love the farmhouse look so I have mixed both of them and just created my own modern farm look. Not too much of both, but just the right amount.
EBH: What are your favorite features in your home?
A: My absolute favorite features are my kitchen and dining room area. I just love that they are open and I can see everything that is going on. And I love that those rooms are separate and have their own uniqueness.
EBH: What was your building process and Eastbrook experience like?
A: Our building process was exceptional with Eastbrook. This was our first time building and I could have not asked for such an amazing experience. From meeting with our realtor, Susan Stoddard, who walked us through everything, to the design studio, and all the emails about what was happening next with the home, it was such an unforgettable experience.
The communication was always there and that was very important. Especially because they saw the vision I had and it was created just how we wanted.
EBH: Do you have any tips or tricks for new home owners?
A: I would say to just do your research and make sure that you are adding the touches that you want for your home to make it your own. Have FUN! This process can be stressful, but if you take it one day at a time and have fun with it, you will be amazed at the end results.
EBH: Any other thoughts you would like to add?
A: We are thrilled with our home and potentially down the road, we’ll build another one. 😉 It was such an enjoyable experience that we would do it all over again.
