Harvest Meadows and Emerald Springs Community Phase Launches

As part of an eightWest segment, host Tom Hillen visited Harvest Meadows to speak with sales agent Jeff Costello to learn more about this inviting Eastbrook community.

Harvest Meadows sits just 10 minutes away from I-96 and is a mere 20-minute drive from downtown Grand Rapids. You don’t have to make the trip into the city to experience a bustling downtown community, though, with Lowell’s city center being just minutes away!

“Lowell is so close to the small downtown you have here, but it’s close to Ada and Grand Rapids as well,” said Jeff Costello. “It’s very affordable out here, and it’s really not that far away.”

The community is perfect for raising children, as well, with the small town feel, great school system, and local amenities making it an ideal location for growing families.

Julie and Brennan Batien moved to Harvest Meadows from Florida and were immediately impressed with the way the community perfectly blended small-town living with easy access to amenities that’s usually reserved for larger cities.

“The schools are very close, the stores are very close, everything that you need is very close. But, you also get a nice small-town feel,” said Brennan Batian.

A Simple Building Process

“We had a great team from Eastbrook that really helped us,” said Julie Batien. “We had never built a house before. Between our sales agent and the design studio, everybody was so great in helping us make our vision come to life.”

The level of customization offered in the building process was essential to making the Batiens’ new dream home feel like their own. The numerous decisions they were able to make over each detail of their home design helped create a space that reflected their family’s unique personality.

“We had a say in almost every aspect of the home build,” said Brennan, “from what kind of home we wanted for a layout, to what lot we wanted, to every little fixture that’s involved.”

It’s a several thousand square feet design studio where our customers go to pick out their cabinets, their flooring, all those things,” said Byslam. “They’ll be working directly with an interior design team who helps them stay within their budget. They know before they turn a shovel of dirt what the price is going to be on their house.”
