Hearth and Home with Dawn at Hathaway Lakes
Welcome to another Hearth and Home spotlight featuring one of our newer Eastbrook Homes family members. This week, please join us as we chat with Dawn from the community of Hathaway Lakes.
Dawn shared some about her design inspirations, favorite features, and the interesting way she found some of the colors and options she wanted in her Eastbrook Home.
Please welcome Dawn to the Hearth and Home series from Eastbrook Homes!
EHB: When did you move into your home?
D: I moved into my home August 2018
EBH: What home plan do you have?
D: I have the Hudson. I knew I wanted a ranch style home and the Hudson checked my boxes both in style and budget.
EBH: What is your decorating inspiration?
D: I honestly didn’t have one (except I knew I wanted grey tone main walls) so I went around to several Eastbrook Communities and looked at a variety of homes to see what caught my eye. I found a home in Placid Waters that I was drawn to both inside and out and went from there with my Home Designer.
EBH: What are your favorite features in your home?
D: The open concept, the fireplaces, and the Port Hole Windows in my kitchen overlooking the lake behind my home. The finished basement is also a great place to hang out and watch games.
EBH: What was your building process/Eastbrook experience like?
D: The process went very smoothly. My Salesperson did a great job from the start, the Home Designer was fantastic to work with and had suggestions that really fit my style. Finally, the Construction Manager kept me well informed of progress on my home and now the Service Team has been responsive as needed.
EBH: Do you have any tips or tricks for new homeowners?
D: Be patient and really take a look at houses inside and out to see what you like. It will make it much easier in the Home Creation Studio.
EHB: Any other thoughts you would like to add?
D: I love my Eastbrook house, it turned out fantastic.
At Eastbrook Homes, we always give you more home for your money.
Season’s Greetings from Eastbrook Homes!
