Michigan Must-See October Events

October 1st always seems like the true line in the sand between Summer and Fall. There are still some good days left for walks on the beach, or hiking in the park or bike rides through Holland, but they are becoming scarce.

However, this October, Eastbrook Homes has created a series of events for you to enjoy throughout the month. It might be time to get out your favorite jacket or sweater, but our list includes plenty of indoor activities to go along with some fun outside events.

Stop in for the chance to make new friends, see new phases and floor plans at Eastbrook Homes, try out some great new tastes from local eateries, and best of all – support the incredible people who work hard every day to make life better for those less fortunate.

You might need socks and sandals, or you might need a sweater and scarf but either way, come on out and enjoy Taste and Tour 2019!

Oct. 3rd – Happy Hour at Placid Waters from 4:00 to 7:00 PM

Enjoy food and drink samples from local vendors while exploring Eastbrook communities and home plans. Join us in supporting Love in Action.

Oct. 4th – House Concert at Crowner Farms from 7:00 to 9:00 PM

Listen to the blues, jazz, and country-tinged tunes provided by Double Secret Probation: Explore this home while enjoying snacks and refreshments and help us support Ele’s Place.

Oct. 10th – Wine and Dine at Preservation Lakes from 5:00 to 7:00 PM

Spend the evening trying deluxe desserts and cheeses paired with our favorite wines and explore the two furnished showcase homes at Preservation Lakes. Please help us support Women’s Resource Center and Family Promise of Grand Rapids.

Oct. 10th – Happy Hour at Rockford Highlands from 5:00 to 7:00 PM

Enjoy delicious food provided by What the Truck and Bumblebee Ice Cream, and drinks while touring our lovely executive homes. Show your support for D.A Blodgett – St. Johns.

Oct. 10th – Home Creation Studio Tour from 5:00 to 7:00 PM

Join us at the Home Creation Studio for a guided tour during a rare opening to the public. Help us support the amazing people at Wedgewood Christian Services.

Oct. 12th – BBQ Party at Tannery Bay from 1:00 to 4:00 PM

Enjoy home-style BBQ, activities, and home tours, all with a waterfront view! Welcome the amazing crew from Kids Food Basket of Muskegon.

Oct. 13th – A Taste of Greater Lansing at Wind Trace from 1:00 to 4:00 PM

Enjoy curated beer samples and local eats while watching football and show your support for St. Vincent Catholic Charities.

Oct 17th – Community Party at Carlisle Crossings from 5:00 to 7:00 PM

Enjoy a sports-themed evening of food and drink samples from local vendors while exploring Eastbrook communities and home plans. Our featured non-profit partner will be Inner City Christian Federation.

Oct. 17th – Happy Hour at Saddle Ridge from 5:00 to 7:00 PM

Try samples of local fall treats from Robinettes while touring our lovely home and showing support for Ele’s Place of West Michigan.

Please join us at one or more of our Taste and Tour locations and enjoy some delicious food and drink offerings from local establishments. See what’s new at Eastbrook Homes and just have some fun.

More importantly, during our Eastbrook Homes Month of Giving, help our team support many of the incredible charity organizations helping those in need throughout our communities.
