Grab a Pint – Situated on the shore of White Lake, Fetch Brewing Company crafts a rotating menu of brewed delights, including blood orange IPAs, American lagers, coffee stouts, and pina colada ales. Stop by to hear live music and enjoy the sights and sounds of beautiful West Michigan from Fetch’s outdoor patio.
Sweet Treats – Family-owned and operated, White Lake Dairy Treat proudly offers Country Dairy premium ice cream right in downtown Whitehall. Their menu boasts dairy-free and sugar-free options, in addition to frozen yogurt and their famous Monster Shake!

Yoga – Head over to the Whitehall Viking Athletic Center and take a professionally-led yoga class or take a few laps year-round on their indoor walking and running track.

Whitehall, Michigan: What to See?
White River Light Station – Built in 1875, the White River Light Station is open from late May through September. Learn about the original lighthouse keeper, English-born Captain William Robinson, and his 13 children or dive into the history of Michigan’s first female lighthouse keeper, Frances Marshall. The lighthouse offers a series of events throughout the season, including yoga, concerts, and family storytime on the lighthouse lawn.
World’s Largest Weathervane – This fully-functional, giant-sized attraction was built in 1984 and stands 48 feet tall and 26 feet long. The World’s Largest Weathervane is located in the heart of Montague, Whitehall’s neighboring sister town across White Lake. Snap a photo next to this 4,300-pound attraction before heading over to city hall and learning about Great Lakes lumber schooner Ella Ellenwood, the inspiration behind the weathervane’s topper.
“Contest” Shipwreck – Visible only at certain times over a multi-year period, the remains of 124-foot long schooner Contest sit 500 feet west from White River Light Station. The mysterious wreckage is thought to be over 140 years old and offers a window into the past of West Michigan’s industrious shipping history.
Whitehall Historic Caboose – Take a trip through time by visiting Whitehall’s Historic Caboose Museum, open spring through fall and located just behind the White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce building. The caboose was built in 1924 for the Reading Railroad Company and is the second oldest surviving Reading caboose ever built.
